In conjunction with the Hook Island Eco Resort Group, Bauenort fast-tracked the transformation of the disused resort destroyed by years of cyclones back to its unique natural state. Works include removal of the old resort buildings and observatory.

Acting on behalf of the owners, Bauenort worked closely with all regulatory authorities and stakeholders to obtain masterplan approval for a nature-based, eco-friendly resort focused on low-impact, low-emission, sustainable accommodation for the environmentally-conscious visitor was approved in 2022.
